The lodge features six elegantly appointed en-suite bedrooms, each with a private patio overlooking the pool and surrounding bushveld. Five rooms offer luxurious king-size four-poster beds, while one room can be configured as an adjoining twin or double, making it ideal for families. Every room is thoughtfully equipped with a flat-screen TV, bar fridge, Nespresso machine, and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Guests are also invited to enjoy the lodge’s shared lounge, bar, swimming pool, games room, fire pit, and a viewing deck that frames the breathtaking Drakensberg Mountains, creating the perfect spaces to relax and soak in the beauty of the Lowveld.

"Everything was just perfect! Highly recommended!! Luxury accommodations with a home feel in the wildlife reserve with frequent visits from giraffes right by the property. The rooms and common areas are beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hosts, John and Annalie, are simply amazing! They provide hospitality and care beyond expectations. Once you step foot through the door of the lodge you don’t feel like a random guest, but part of the family. You are treated as a family through the whole stay - warm, welcoming with great attention to every detail. The whole staff is extremely friendly and nice. The breakfast is delicious with great variety to choose from. It’s a home cooked meal in a luxury lodge environment. John helped with booking game drives and providing great recommendations for all the unique experiences in the area. Thank you, guys, for unforgettable experience! I miss you already and can’t wait to come back again and stay with you!!"

"Ons het die ongelooflikste tyd by Little Kubu Lodge gehad. Pragtig geleë in die hart van die natuur, tussen kameelperde, sebras en rooibokke, is hierdie oase van rustigheid vol al die gerief wat jy maar kan wens. Ontbyt was heerlik, en John en Annalie was ongelooflik gasvry — hulle het selfs alternatiewe aangebied vir ontbyt, dinge om te doen en was net so vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Om wakker te word in so ’n rustige atmosfeer was ’n droom. Hulle het selfs my maat gehelp om ’n verrassing vir my verjaarsdag te reël!"

"Annalie and John were the perfect hosts and Little Kubu lodge is simply BEAUTIFUL! The lodge and staff went out of their way to make our stay and experience there absolutely superb and assist me with my marrigae proposal (she said yes!). Thank you so much to all of the staff at Little Kubu who made our stay memorable and special. The rooms are ideal, beautifully furnished and well kept. The scenery around the lodge is stunning and we were spoiled with some lovely wildlife sightings at their waterhole. The food prepared by John and Annalie was excellent. Little Kubu is also well placed in the wildlife estate with great access to the town of Hoedspruit. Overall I would rate the place 11/10 and will definitely be going back for more romantic weekend getaways with my fiance. Thank you for an amazing stay!"
